The summertime beckons for the cool sips of a tasty rosè sangria. I’ve had sangrias that I loved and others that I hated because they were WAY too sweet. I don’t mind a light, fruity sweetness in sangrias. However, too much sugar equals a headache for me, which is never fun. Not to worry, though! My easy rosè sangria recipe is low-sugar, low-maintenance, and darn-right delicious! I love to make a big batch of sangria for a girl’s day, shower, or any type of outdoor soirée. The longer the sangria sits, the better it becomes as all the flavors bond together and become fruitier and naturally sweeter over time (if your batch lasts that long!).
If you’ve read any of my other beverage recipe posts, you’ll notice that I do NOT mess with making simple syrup or buying any type of specialty mixers. Instead, I like to substitute agave nectar, natural fruit, or just leave it out entirely. Call it my obsession with healthier eats, time-saving, or just plain being lazy. 😉 No matter what, I want to make the healthiest version of a recipe I can with the least amount of time or cleanup. Can I get an Amen? All that being said, I make my rosè sangria different than other recipes out there because I do not add sugar or fruit juice. Instead, I use an amazing rosè, peach schnapps, fresh fruit, and some flavored La Croix to keep things sparkly.
I love this recipe because:
- It’s not TOO sweet
- It doesn’t require extra sugar or making simple syrup
- It can be made with your favorite fresh fruit
- Takes only minutes to whip up for your girls!
Here’s how I make it-
I throw half a green apple, lemon slices, 2 peaches (saving a few slices for individual glass garnish), & 1/2 a small carton of blackberries in a large serving pitcher.
From there, I measure 4 oz. of peach schnapps into the vessel along with 1 cup of blackberry La Croixan and entire bottle of rosè.
Then, I pop this into the fridge until guests arrive so that the longer it sits (a few hours is perfect!) the better it gets. Then, I add ice so that the sangria gets extra cold and serve up to each guest.
You could certainly choose to just add ice to each person’s glass as your pour them out versus putting ice into the entire pitcher. You could leave the ice out entirely if you’re worried about the ice watering the flavor down and it’s had a few hours to chill in the refrigerator. In my experience, the pitcher didn’t last long enough for the ice to melt, but you could hold out on that if you wanted. 😉

You could sub a different fruit if peaches & blackberries aren’t your thing – but why would you do that?! Joking… but I would encourage you to just give this flavor combo a try at least once. 🙂 It is DEElicious!
Oh, oh (waives hands wildly)! One of the BEST things at the end of your sips with this drink is that everyone can divide up the rosè-soaked fruit at the bottom. It makes a nice little snack on the end. Mmm mm.
Some may even be consider this a hydrating sangria recipe with the La Croix plus the added ice… No, is that a stretch? OK. Well, it’s yummy, we can all agree on that!
Here’s to an easy, low-sugar with high-flavor sangria that takes no time to make…Cheers!
- 1 bottle of Rosè
- 4 oz. peach schnapps
- 1 cup. La Croix blackberry flavor
- 2 peaches
- 1 carton of fresh or frozen blackberries
- 1/2 lemon slices
- 1/2 green apple
- Throw all sliced fruit in the bottom of a large pitcher.
- Add peach schapps, La Croix, and bottle of Rosè.
- Let sit in the fridge for 1-3 hours.
- Add ice, serve immediately.
- Optional: garnish with a few fresh peach slices and blackberries!
